Our beginings
Our first eCommerce solutions went on the market in 2007. A few years later, in 2010, we officially launched under the brand name Avanticart - Gremini's parent company. We were, most likely, offering the first ever eCommerce SaaS platform in Romania.
We evolved in what is a well known competitive IT market, and grew at the same time with our clients and their online stores. It was at this stage that we developed the warehouse management system (WMS), for a German client managing hundreds of thousands of products.
Before we implemented the WMS, their warehouse was overwhelmed by chaos and setbacks: items were constantly lost, wrong products were delivered to clients, and long-overdue deliveries. Frustrating? You bet!
After we implemented the WMS, the process healed. Lost items were a thing of the past. Everything was working with ease, at the hands of a mini-team with just two people. They were now not just processing hundreds of orders per day, but also sent every order on time.
Next, we targeted the growing Romanian eCommerce niche and started implementing our solutions to online shops with more and more success. That's how, in 2022, the most efficient 10 Gremini clients:
- had turnovers totalling more than €30,000,000
- successfully delivered over 830,000 orders
- accomplished with a total of just 25 employees
In the long term, we will continue to make big-league automation more accessible for online shops. We're kept highly motivated by the growing results obtained year after year.
