How does the GreminiWMS precisely operate?
Inventory gets placed in the warehouse
When inventory is received, the warehouse management system allows for random item positioning. To save time, employees can place goods wherever they find available storage space. The system will find every single item when required, and automatically point the shortest picking route.
Quick and simple order picking
The orders - now organized according to the number of items contained - are designated to operators along with the shortest picking route. Gremini's smart and lightning-fast automated process saves time and money (or money and even more money, depending on how one looks at things) 😉.
Every order is managed
GreminiWMS verifies every new order and generates picking lists for each warehouse operator (picker). If any details regarding the orders are missing, the system points them out for operator verification. Completed orders are organized in groups according to the number of items contained.
Items are scanned and packaged
All items have now been picked and brought to the packaging area. Operators (packers) need to scan each item before placing them inside designated packages. This way, the system makes sure that every ordered product makes it in. When the item that completes an order is scanned, an AWB sticker is automatically printed for the parcel.
Packages are set for delivery
While waiting for the delivery person, parcels are stored close by the warehouse entrance. When a package is handed over to the courier, the operator performs a final scan of the AWB barcode. GreminiWMS registers the shipment, issues an invoice and changes the order status accordingly.
Tally sheets are imported
When couriers or payment integrators export tally sheets, they are easily imported into the Gremini Warehouse Management System. Payments then automatically get matched with their respective orders. Simple and efficient.
